Simple Back to Homeschool Ideas Moms and Teens will Love

It’s August, which means it’s time to think about heading back to (home)school.

Although homeschoolers don’t walk down store aisles checking off mandatory school supply lists, we still prepare for a new school year in our own way. Signing up for co-op classes, gathering curriculum, purchasing new supplies, choosing books, etc.

In our house, we school year round, but I must admit that I get excited when it’s time to kick off a new year. So many possibilities!

I love homeschooling! Learning is a way of life for our family. Most days you will find us exploring our Central Florida community, having fun while learning. I am constantly looking for new and interactive ways to engage my older children.

  1. Great ideas! I just love this series. Many people might save the special back to school fun for the younger kids, but my teenage daughter still enjoys going to get ice cream on our first official day of school and enjoys going on that first field trip of the year that we try and get in during those first few days.

    1. Thank you Marci! Isn’t it nice how we can still continue so many of our favorite traditions, even as our kids get older? In fact, I think they like them more as they become teens.
